“This series of photographic prints have “grown” in either the artist’s studio or onsite during exhibition. Each image has been left to materialise, bloom and change over time leaving a non-permanent, three-dimensional pictorial plane. The realized prints exist as a series of stress tests applied to the chemistry and materials that produce pictures. Varying in size, format and even colour, the prints allow a self-referential look at the medium of photography, liberated of its functions, taking its own conditions as its theme.”
