“Leftovers utilises the excess materials from Spivak’s silvering process - chemical solutions, glass fragments, excess pigments - to further investigate the liminal space between narcissism and self-loathing. The exhibition’s witty and purposeful use of reflection puts the gaze on display and provides the viewer space to consider the value of (self) image in our visually saturated culture.”
